A blessing for reaching the children Acts 2:42 Ministries tutors. They can hear Christ’s message in their own language as well as practice English. Thanks to a donor for suggesting this.
Praise God for progress! A 6th grader that Acts 2:42 Ministries tutors is able to speak several sentences now in English. When he started in June he barely said a word. His reading ability has also improved two grade levels since June. The 6th grader’s mother is also improving with her English. Continue to pray for them and their salvation.
These past few days I have really experienced the following verses: “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5 Acts 2:42 Ministries has been tutoring one student for 9 months. It has been a blessing to use a teaching gift to help this student. One gift I don’t have is plumbing. With all the cold weather I experienced a frozen pipe. I mentioned it to the student’s father not knowing he does plumbing. Within a few days he came over to fix the broken pipe. It is a beautiful thing when others can use their God-given gifts
