Thank you for your prayers as students transition back to in-person school. A later sleep schedule and more relaxed environment have been difficult for students to give up. However, they do seem to be making academic progress.
Towards the end of an Acts 2:42 Ministries tutoring session, one of the students mentioned an interest in learning computer programming to make games. Praise God that I have had previous jobs where I learned these skills. Nothing goes to waste in God’s Kingdom.
Most of the students Acts 2:42 Ministries works with went back to school in-person last week. When a 1st grader was asked about it, he said he would rather be virtual. He didn’t care to be sitting at his desk for lunch and recess. While it is good for students to return to school, it is a prayer things return to normal so children can experience play and socialization as well as in-person instruction.
