Purposeful community

June 1st marked 5 years that I have lived here. Yet, it doesn’t seem like it and gets better the longer I stay. As time goes on, I develop deeper relationships with my neighbors. In the last week I have done several things with them. I tutored several in English, watched the Cavaliers win Game 4, was blessed by someone doing some roof work, and ate dinner with my Mexican neighbors. Acts 2:42 Ministries vision is to see people accept Christ and grow in their relationship with God through community. So it is great to interact with my neighbors and enjoy them, but I continue to pray that as the relationships deepen they may see what Christ has done for each one of us.
