Happy President's Day!

Happy President’s Day! I don’t agree with everything our current and past presidents have done, but as a Christian I am commanded to pray for them.

2 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4

I admit this can be very hard sometimes but here at Acts 2:42 Ministries it has become a habit to pray for those in political authority several times a week. They do need our prayers. Just think, how much worse off would things be if no one decided to pray?
