Christ centered community

These past few days I have really experienced the following verses:

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5

Acts 2:42 Ministries has been tutoring one student for 9 months. It has been a blessing to use a teaching gift to help this student. One gift I don’t have is plumbing. With all the cold weather I experienced a frozen pipe. I mentioned it to the student’s father not knowing he does plumbing. Within a few days he came over to fix the broken pipe. It is a beautiful thing when others can use their God-given gifts to help one another, instead of touting them to put others down. May God be given the glory as His people help one another.
